چکیده
Tbis paper describes a global environmental data distribution systeD (GEDDS) wbich uses a siogle sDall satellite operating in a low polar orbit. The satellite collects envirollllental data frolll remotely located instru:aentation platforms and distributes it to research laboratories and other interested organizations virtually anywhere in the world. A command link also allows principal investigators to control and calibrate platform instruments on a daily basis directly from their laboratory or office.
